It’s the most wonderful time of the year, which means we can put away those autumn shades and bring out our holiday polishes!
I really enjoy all of the festivities during Christmas and having my nails done really helps me to feel extra spirited. This post showcases mostly old favorites that I bring out every year, with just a couple of polishes that were new to me.
Just to note: I am going to be doing a separate post on polish ideas for New Year’s. So stay tuned for that in the next few weeks!

I tried to choose a variety of shades and I will probably be wearing all of these polishes over the course of the next month. A new shade for this year is China Glaze’s Mingle with Kringle, which is the perfect gold. It is currently my favorite nail polish (and I wore it for Thanksgiving). Another favorite of mine is Julep Zelda, a metallic pink-champagne, almost leaning a bit silver. Zelda is probably one of the more unique shades in my nail polish collection. I also threw in Zoya Kimber, because I like wearing hot pinks during Christmastime as an alternative to red.
Then of course there are the typical holiday colors: reds, greens, and blues. You really cannot go wrong with any of these shades. I know that I have mentioned China Glaze Poinsettia before, but it really is the perfect holiday red – more so than any other red cream I own.
What are your favorite polishes to wear during the holidays?
